Company History

Founded in 1999 by Bob Lovelace and JD Sullivan, Image Matters quickly earned the reputation of Knoxville’s most respected office technology dealer. Over the years, the company has grown from just two dedicated employees to include over 30 sales and service professionals.

Realizing it needed a more spacious showroom and office facilities, Image Matters relocated from Baum Drive to its current home on Sutherland Avenue in 2006.

Today, Image Matters is the only locally owned and operated office technology dealership in Knoxville to provide a total document output solution. In addition to the traditional offerings of copy, print, fax and scan hardware, Image Matters introduced ImageLink in 2008. ImageLink is a revolutionary managed print service designed to support desktop and network printers. In 2009, Image Matters opened a full-service print shop—Image Matters Print & Copy Center—to meet its customers’ commercial printing needs.

Since its inception, Image Matters has built a loyal customer base from Knox and surrounding counties representing small business as well as healthcare, financial, educational and legal institutions.
